South Morang Fire Brigade

The South Morang Fire Brigade was formed on 25th May 1964. Situated in District 14, the South Morang Fire Brigade is one of over 1200 CFA brigades, collectively carrying out a wide range of duties.

The CFA is one of the world's largest volunteer-based emergency service organisations. There are around 60,000 members including 59,000 volunteers along with career firefighters, community educators and support personnel.

Serving approx. 3.3 million Victorians and protecting more than one million dwellings. CFA divide the state into 20 Districts and 8 Regions. The South Morang Fire Brigade was formed on 25th May 1964. Situated in District 14, the South Morang Fire Brigade is one of over 1200 CFA brigades, collectively carrying out a wide range of duties.

We respond to a number of different incidents including Structure Fires, Grass Fires, MVAs and Flare-Off. We are also an EMR (Emergency Medical Response) first responder brigade to assist the MAS. Our broader activities include Community Education and Fund-Raising.
